Learn what happens when your WSMS license expires and how to keep it active.
When Does a License Expire?
Your license expires under these conditions:
- Payment Failure - Your payment method is declined during renewal
- Manual Cancellation - You disabled auto-renewal and the subscription period ended
- Refund Processed - A refund was approved for your subscription
You can check your subscription status and next payment date in your account dashboard.
Renewal Notifications
We send reminders to help you avoid expiration:
- Several days before renewal
- When your payment method is about to expire
- After a failed payment attempt (with grace period to update)

Keep your payment method up to date to avoid service interruption.
What Happens When Your License Expires
Core Plugin Remains Active
The free WSMS plugin continues to work without interruption.
Add-on Limitations
When your add-on license expires:

Admin Notifications
You’ll see license expiration reminders in:
- WordPress admin dashboard
- Your account page at my.wsms.io
IMPORTANT
While expired add-ons may continue to function initially, long-term compatibility cannot be guaranteed due to WordPress updates.
How to Renew
- Log in to my.wsms.io
- Go to My Subscription
- Click Renew Now
- Complete the payment
