Getting Started with WP SMS Pro

WP SMS Pro is the most advanced SMS notification plugin for WordPress. This guide will help you get up and running in minutes.

Requirements

Before installing WP SMS Pro, make sure your environment meets these requirements:

  • WordPress 5.0 or higher
  • PHP 7.4 or higher
  • An active SMS gateway account

Installation

Method 1: WordPress Dashboard

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New
  3. Search for “WP SMS Pro”
  4. Click Install Now
  5. After installation, click Activate

Method 2: Manual Upload

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file from your account
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  3. Choose the downloaded ZIP file
  4. Click Install Now and then Activate

Quick Configuration

After activation, follow these steps:

1. Configure Your Gateway

Navigate to SMS → Settings → Gateway and:

1. Select your SMS gateway provider
2. Enter your API key/credentials
3. Set your sender ID
4. Save changes

2. Test Your Connection

Go to SMS → Send SMS and send a test message to verify your configuration.

3. Enable Notifications

Go to SMS → Notifications to enable automatic notifications for:

  • New user registrations
  • WooCommerce orders
  • Comments
  • Custom events
